1) Pudong International Airport (PVG) Most international flights arrive at Pudong International Airport. The airport is located in the eastern part of Pudong district of Shanghai, and it is about 50 km from the airport to the Observatory. For participants arriving at Pudong Airport, the most convenient and direct way to reach Shanghai Astronomical Observatory is by taxi. It costs about 150RMB (190RMB after 11pm) and takes about 50 minutes to the Observatory. There is also public transport. Particularly, the Magnetic Levitation train runs from the Pudong International Airport to Long Yang Road Metro station (Line 2). It has a peak speed of 431 km/h and a track length of 30 km. At the terminal station of the MagLev railway, you may take a taxi to the Observatory. 2) Hongqiao Airport (SHA)
